As the proud owner of a gas oven you’ll maybe know your hot friend can sometimes suffer from blocked ignition ports, dirty pilot light electrodes or faulty lighting systems. If you’ve “gone electric”, your oven may develop thermostat problems or have a faulty fan or a cracked hinge.
It’s important to repair oven problems as soon as they appear either on gas or electric appliances. It’s extremely important to be sure you’ve turned the gas supply off or the propane gas before you attempt in any way to investigate a problem with a gas oven. If you’ve smelt gas it’s advisable to call y our local gas company of course. They’re the experts.
